Walk on DE/TE from Washington PA who appears to be headed for future long snapping duties.

A good long snapper is a very underrated asset.

You're right, but they're not underrated to coaches--they are critically important to special teams. That's why on the relatively rare occasion when a LS gets hurt and the backup LS has to go in, weird $hit tends to happen on XPs and FGs. They are virtually always walk-ons who earn schollies later. At a Pitt v. ND game at ND back in the WLAT era, i sat with the parents of the ND long snapper. He was a Catholic school O linemen from MIlwaukee or Minneapolis who only weighed about 230 in HS and who recognized while in HS that his ticket to D1 football was to be a specialist. ND gave him a full ride after his soph year in which he started every game. His parents were proud as hell of the kid, what an experience and a free education at a top school to boot.

Hopefully this Britton kid fits the bill for us.
