so sometimes I go down a history rabbit hole, which I did recently. found a couple of rivalry trophies I never heard of.

1. Spalding Trophy - went to the winner of PSU/Pitt. curious if anyone had heard of it. I THINK it says it's for the winner of the game played on thankgsiving. I did a little research and it looks as if pitt/psu used to be played on thanksgiving but that ended in in 1930. anyone ever hear of this one?

2. the old ironsides trophy. this was like the commander in chief trophy. just swap out the service academies for pitt, psu, and WVU. if the rules stood today, WVU would hold it. that's one big ass trophy.
