There was a thread (or two?) about this several weeks ago. FWIW - at that time, his shoulder was being discussed as being problematic.

Either way, bummer. Tough kid with good potential at a major need position. I felt like he'd be a major contributor next year if he came back from that ankle surgery.

I just saw this thread but we reported on the premium board a couple weeks ago that Maclean had left the team.
