1. 2008-09. Best Pitt team, and a 5 second Scottie Reynolds end-to-end from the Final Four.
2. 2001-02. Went to the Sweet 16. The arrival of the golden age.
3. 2003-04. Lose our coach to UCLA, and then go 31-5, establishing that Pitt was a PROGRAM
4. 2007-08. Beat Duke, had major injuries, grind out a Big East Championship. The year Levance Fields became my favorite Panther.
5. 2022-23. At least 8 more wins than I thought we'd get this year. Biggest upset (by seed) in the tournament ever for Pitt. A group of journeymen that brought back my joy in the winter by coming together.
6. 1987-88. The best offensive team in Pitt history. My junior year at Pitt. Met my future wife at the Field House during a game against St. John's.
7. 2010-11. Never expected to be good enough to be a 1-seed when the season began. Nasir Robinson's brain fart still haunts me, especially since Butler got to the title game after beating us.
8. 2002-03. First ever Big East championship. Bitter taste in my mouth about how Sonny Vaccaro stole Howland away from us immediately after the final buzzer against Marquette.
9. 1986-87. The year Jerome Lane became a rebounding machine. His 22 point/21 rebound game against Syracuse is still burned into my brain.
10. 2000-2001. The run in the BET that was the table setter for all that was to come.
