With 4 of the remaining 6 on the road, just a reminder Pitt has the 2nd longest active road winning streak in FBS (behind only Georgia) with 7.
Last 7 games:
Pitt 34 Western Michigan 13
Pitt 31 Syracuse 14
Pitt 54 Duke 29
Pitt 28 VT 7
Pitt 52 GT 21
Pitt 41 Tennessee 34
Pitt 34 GT 20
Mostly convincing. And sure, mostly Pickett… but the defense and run game balled some in this stretch too. Looking forward to seeing how they play on the road against tougher competition now this year… been a bit lukewarm at home. Less pressure maybe? In front of their home crowds - does Louisville wanna get their coach fired? Does UNC wanna blow 2 weeks of preparation and a flawless conference record being in the driver’s seat for the coastal?
and I say this knowing these games seem like toss-ups… Pitt/Louisville is basically a pick ‘em and UNC probably will be favored. But hey, bring it on.
