Seems to be his demeanor. He was walking back to the field with the game about to restart (everyone was already out there) and he seemed to shake the hand of every little kid in the stands and thanked them for coming. No sense of "the game is about to start and I better hurry out there"

do you have a Roku? If so, you should be able to watch providing you can sign in with a listed provider. I use YouTubeTV. If you're not a subscriber you might be able to get a free trial

Pitt fans have the program they deserve. Mid-sized fan base at the near bottom of the ACC in athletic giving...which means near bottom of the power conference teams. Actually, I take that back. The program is better than the fan base deserves.

I've seen Nick Saban coach several years when he didn't have a significant talent advantage in his days at Michigan State and with the Dolphins. It really wasn't very good. In 5 years at Michigan State, he averaged less than 7 wins per season. I'm not for certain, but I don't think he managed to go .500 in Miami.

Well even if you think the water at most programs will eventually find its level - and it very well may - sometimes you need to sell hope in order to galvanize donors, recruits, fans, etc.
