Pitt is what Pitt is

LOL.

First, how many new coaches are hired every year? Second, how many turn out to the "right guy"?

The point is that it is easier said than done. It is like catching lightning in a bottle. Was Brian Kelly at LSU the right guy? How about Lincoln Riley at USC? There are no guarantees.

There is no guarantee than Cignetti is the right guy but Indiana just signed him to an $80 million extension. Is that smart after just 1 year? Maybe. But it is a huge gamble.

I seriously doubt Indiana will do what they did consistently. They could be the next Florida St next year. Maybe not that bad but a huge step back.

Pitt vs Louisville Game Thread

No use in dwelling on this game or this season. We already know they're a 7-5 football team. Can't tackle, no OL, secondary gets burned, no receivers, no running game, backup QB for the rest of the season. And of course, a very inept coaching staff. But we do have a kicker. This feels like a 45 - 6 game.

Basketball season is here. Time to focus on basketball.
