How many 2 loss teams will be ahead of Pitt tomorrow

maybe not a Pitt conspiracy but definitely bias for SEC/against ACC. Please explain 2-loss Mississippi being ranked ahead of Pitt and let me know which of Mississippi's win would be considered a very good win.
Mississippi is an example of "poll inertia" if you will, not a bias against Pitt or the ACC. They started the season in the top ten. Something like 6 or 7, iirc. They took a hit when they lost to Kentucky, but being in the top ten and losing to go 4-1 isn't going to drop them out. And then their second loss was to another top 20 team in a close game. They aren't going to drop far for that either.
But that isn't pro-SEC bias, it's pro-teams that are highly ranked bias. For instance if Clemson loses to Louisville next week they will have two losses. Are they going to drop further than 18, where Mississippi is currently ranked, even though that would be their second loss? No, of course they won't. They won't drop that far at all. Because especially at this point of the season, highly ranked teams that lose games just don't drop all that far. Whether they are in the SEC or the Big Ten or the ACC.
It's not a conspiracy, it's just the way that the polls work.
