Hard to say Delalic was overrated because he really wasnt rated. But he isnt as good as most people hoped. For me, I wasn't counting on him. He was just a bonus. For some of you, you were thinking he'd be almost like All-ACC. The broken hand didnt help but I dont think that's what's holding him back. He and Kante arent P5 players right now.

All Good above. The assist rate is great. But this is a small sample size.
Turnover Rate- 27%
This was the one area I was concerned about with him coming into Pitt as he had the same issue in Europe. His usage rate is 20. The usage rate could come down some to lower the turnover rate, but the usage rate is not some super high number either. In one of his games this year, West Virginia maybe, he gift wrapped the opposing team a 2 point dunk because of a horrendous wreckless turnover from a terrible weak pass that got picked off. We simply cant have that against good competition. If he could just be Elliot on offense and be a stand still 3 point sniper without turning the ball over, that could be just fine for this year.
Kante is Elite in literally every single defensive category from rebounding, defense, blocks, and steals in limited time. He still has the best defensive numbers on the team. He has the same issue as Delalic, with a turnover rate pushing 30. We dont have a defensive problem, so we dont need Kante right now. Maybe on the glass, but like Delalic we cant afford the turnovers. I said preseason this team needs to be knocking on the door of top 5 nationally in turnovers per game to get where we want to be. We are top 20 in turnovers per game right now. That number needs to improve.
