Nelly won the game single-handedly in that stretch with the 9 points and assist for Pitt's 11-point run.

This team has really impressed me and has come along way since getting their ass handed to them by WVU and Michigan and I’m proud to see this team mature and grow as the season goes on. These guys make plays and don’t quit. Great win tonight once again

but it's clear as day that this team plays together, that they like and root for one another, they support each other like in the tense moments in 1st half, and they are slowly developing guys and using their strengths especially the two big men. I have to give that credit to HC Capel, his staff, and the players themselves. It's really great to see teams form and develop as a season moves on.

Great game.

We shot 7-19 from 3 pt range and Hinson and Elliot combined for 7 points. And UNC had 19 offensive rebounds. They shot 22 free throws and we shot 11 free throws. And we held them to 5-27 from 3 point range.

This team just finds a way. And it’s not one person. We will be a tough out in he tourney.
