So many thoughts…

1. 1700 kids that had guaranteed scholarships are now wondering if they will be able to go to college in January.

2. Once the dust settles from signing day, bowl season, there will still be a lot of talented players to complete a roster.

This seems like it will be needed now that so many players opt out of bowl games. I can’t see why they wouldn’t make it permanent.

Guessing gold pants for us but both unis look awesome.

Didn't get home until only about six minutes left in regulation, but this is a good game. Pete Nance hit a shot at the buzzer to tie the game and send it to overtime. Carolina currently with a three point lead.

Wow - this is really poor form. Let's lock the thread, but I'm still trying to understand the danger we're being spared from. Whatever it is, thank you wise one.

Do they have more opt outs than pitt does at this point?

Just watched Delaware at Princeton because there wasn’t much else interesting on TV tonight and I noticed James on the Delaware bench as an assistant coach. I’m sure it has been mentioned here before, but I guess I didn’t know that. They seem like they will be one of the stronger CAA teams led by Jameer Nelson Jr.

Also, it should be mentioned that Associate HC Tray Woodall and Fordham are off to one of their better starts in recent memory at 11-1.

He was… not great at A&M. But still a big win for Key

After watching some of the NCAA volleyball tournament and the big crowds they get, it made me think, is the NCAA thinking too small for women's soccer? This is the best women's soccer country on the planet. There is a giant subculture of women's soccer players and families. Why do they play their season opposite college football and the NFL? Well, I know the answer: because they always have.

So here's my idea of the day:

Move the women's soccer season to the spring when most games are played after college basketball ends and work with some network like ESPN or FS1 to market the heck out of the sport. Like a College GameDay type show, Wrap-up shows, SportsCenter highlights, etc. To an extent, they do this with women's college basketball but nobody cares because its opposite men's basketball. In the spring, its just MLB and NBA Playoffs and no mainstream college sports.

NCAA Women's soccer is what, the 4th or so best women's soccer league in the world? Maybe if they move the men's game to August-May they can move the women's game to like March-July with the College Cup being played right after the College World Series. Maybe even a World Cup style 32 team Group stage or something like that.

Pitt is literally leaving millions on the table here.

They lost a tough 5 set match to a great Louisville team last night in the final four. Back to back final fours.

They are good athletes. Well coached and play hard. I've never been a volleyball fan but these girls are making me one.

Did I mention that they are well spoken. Intelligent and actual students?
Disappointed they didn't make the Championship game but proud of their accomplishments.
