Not a lot for today's rundown, but I figured we've done one of these pretty much every day since about Dec. 5 or thereabouts, so we might as well finish it out.
Signing Day is tomorrow, and as it looks right now, things seem to be pretty well in place for Pitt's class.
A few notes on a few guys:
- Jesse Anderson is locked in. There was a brief bit of concern when he got an offer from Auburn last week, but I believe he is all set on Pitt.
- Jordan Bass seems pretty locked in, too. I'm of the camp that it will be done when the letter is signed, but as of this morning, his plan is to sign first thing Wednesday. We'll keep an eye on it, but this one seems to be heading in that direction.
- I'm fairly confident on Shadarian Harrison, too. I don't think there are any issues there; he said over the weekend that Miami got in too late and he is set with Pitt. So that one should be pretty much settled.
- I'm still trying to get some new info on UNLV WR Kyle Williams. I'm not sure what's happening with him and Pitt beyond what I posted yesterday: he had a FaceTime with Frank Cignetti and Tiquan Underwood Friday night and things seemed to be positive for Pitt. We'll see what develops today.
- I still haven't heard anything new on Derrick Davis.
I'm sure more things will leak out today/tonight. And tomorrow morning is sure to be fun, as it always is on Signing Day. Tune in early and often. We'll have plenty of good coverage for you.
