    Absolutely no reason not to do this. How does he return to Pitt now though? Is the season’s start delayed? The combine will be held virtually in late September as the draft isn’t until November now. Seems very late to officially rejoin Pitt if that is the decision made.

    I really thought he was the one guy from Stallings’ class that Pitt had to keep. Even more so than Marcus Carr, because as we are witnessing a skilled big doesn’t come around every day.     Yeah I personally would’ve preferred he come back to Pitt. But that would be great to see him be a part of a winning team next season, regardless of if he’s a major contributor or not.

    It can be done. Do you trust Pitt to find the guy that can do it though? Most likely Pitt would go with a safe hire and stand behind him as he goes through a rebuild for the next several years.

    Sorry that may have sounded confusing, I didn’t mean at least 11 as far as seeding. I meant we don’t know the opponent for sure yet but we at least know we will almost certainly be the 11 seed playing Tuesday at 7.

    I really thought we would miss Toney defensively, but that hasn’t been the case so far. Champ was much improved on that end tonight. Granted it was Wake Forest, but it appeared the players communicated on defense well tonight.

    As always the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Pitt isn’t on the fast track to greatness next season, but they won’t be Stallings year 2 level either. This looks like a solid team, and the pieces they need it’s still very possible they can bring in before next season.

    Yeah you never know, if there were a college basketball “free agency” during his tenure at VCU and at OU it’s possible that more guys would have left too. I can’t remember the exact year, but I think it was maybe only his last couple years at OU that even the grad transfer rule came into play?
