    Loyola

UNLV in 1990 won out of a mid major league. Marquette won as an independent, but that was back when Indys like Duquesne, St. Bonaventure, and Holy Cross were still seen as majors. UNLV is certainly the exception though.

Agree. Three years ago Houston had Michigan dead, only needing to hit 2 free throws. They missed, and Michigan hit a 40 foot miracle and ended up playing Nova for the championship. Sometimes you get lucky. Houston's star was banged up, and they stole a game. They're a legit threat to be playing...

Friday/Saturday 1st round is a very bad idea

We do understand the situation this year don't we?

Any rooting interests for the tournament?

Not a shocker that the Hoyas are being handled. The BE is down this year, and the Hoyas were a bid thief. They were over seeded because they came out of a major league. They should have been a 14 seed, the way a bad bid thief out of the A10, AAC, or MW would have been, because that's basically...

The Mean Joe Greenes move on.

Any rooting interests for the tournament?

Houston is a serious dark horse. As a frustrated Pitt football fan, it gives me hope when I see a former monster rise from the dead, and regain elite status.

    Agree with this.

    ORU vs tOSU

I'd go to the airport to pick both of them up if they came here.

ORU is maybe the best 15 seed I've seen.

Well, Wichita gagging away a game they should have won going away proved that.

    ORU vs tOSU

They had the 2 best players on the court. How did these guys not land at major schools?

ORU is maybe the best 15 seed I've seen.

They were not overmatched, and no way they're worse than a 12 seed. Their star is p5 quality, and he'll get a look from the NBA.

    7 ACC Teams

The ACC had company this year. The BE was also pathetic, needing Georgetown to be a bid thief to avoid a 3 bid year.

    Nelly Cummings dancing.

With all of the gaps on the roster, I'd take him.

PSA: Patrick Ewing still owns the Garden

No one here wanted Mark Schmidt, but I'd surely take him now.

    Nelly Cummings dancing.

I figured someone would notice. He had a nice junior season, although at a low level.

Montreal. Love Toronto as well. Savannah is small, but it's core is spectacular.

    OT: Super Bowl Game Thread

Those o-line were bad, but Ben never had to consistently run for his life like Mahomes did last night. The rush was a jailbreak on 75% of the plays.

OT: Most disappointing or surprisingly boring or bad cities you visited

Indianapolis. Flat and boring. Other than the core of downtown, it lacks interesting neighborhoods. Most of the Great Lakes cities lack more than a couple of interesting urban neighborhoods, although Cleveland does inner suburbs very well. Cincy, and St. Louis have some interesting core areas...

I've never seen an elite QB on a good team have to run for his life like this.

Andy must be out of his mind calling timeouts with Brady on the field.
