    The Buccos

I'd agree with you but there aren't really any other names that come close to those. Dave Parker might get a sniff.

    Hayes To Colorado

Could be hubris, too. Thinks he can trade on his name.

Does the Big East remain intact if 13-9 doesn't happen?

Don't know how you dream this crap up.

Does the Big East remain intact if 13-9 doesn't happen?

Comparing an entire conference to a division makes sense?

    Michigan Spring Game Attendance

No, we need to go straight to God on this one.

    NFL Draft

Well, if everything we heard about the club "needing to win now" is true then trading for Aiyuk is a no brainer. It's a disastrous move, long term, but that hasn't stopped them before.

    Hayes To Colorado

How exactly is Sanders a great coach but his program is a disaster? Those two ideas can't exist at the same time.

    Hayes To Colorado

Most of the kids care about winning. You're just seeing a few loud and extreme examples get all of the attention. Plus it helps fragile egos to advance this notion that kids don't care and are only out for themselves.

    Bears staying in Chicago

The only Midwest city more boring than Indy is St. Louis. Most people want to go somewhere fun and Chicago has a really cool downtown. Dome makes Chicago a player for every major event including the Super Bowl.

Fed Ex just pledged $25 Million for the Memphis NIL fund

Worst possible time for the program to flounder

I mean, you can call it a loss if it matters to you. Smart people look around and know when it's time to cut losses and make lemonade out of the lemons you have lying around.

    Rock and roll HOF 2024

I refuse to recognize the legitimacy of this so called "hall of fame" until Spinal Tap is inducted.

    The Buccos

Risk. Trying to win is a more expensive investment and there are few guarantees. Being mediocre or worse is a very safe bet. Honestly, I don't think winning would be a sustainable windfall. At best they'd get one or two seasons and then have to dump and run. Probably carry a couple of contracts...

    Yeah, shocking development.

Yeah, ESPN needs content. Especially as more and more services enter the market.

Worst possible time for the program to flounder

It's becoming more apparent that the endgame with the ACC lawsuits is a negotiated settlement. If that's the case, it should give the ACC (and ESPN) the benefit to work on its future without a chaotic free-for-all. Being anchored on the east coast is still an advantage and there is value in...

Fed Ex just pledged $25 Million for the Memphis NIL fund

They literally would not lose your status. They creatively find ways to justify every other goofy thing they blow money on so this wouldn't be any different. Would just be a bad look when they keep cutting staff and pay.
