    Hello folks.......IT'S MASTERS WEEK!!!

I doubt that Nicklaus would have won more than 2 or 3 majors if his career coincided with The Gooch Era. He merely had to beat guys like Palmer, Watson and Trevino. Might as well start putting asterisks in the record book next to Jack's name.

    O.J. To the portal…

Statement from his spokesman said he died quietly surrounded by his children, grandchildren and others that he never got around to killing.

    Talor Gooch.....oh, wait.

    Similar?

Actually, I meant to defend Capel more than Dior. Maybe Capel didn't know he was recruiting a prima donna. Dior may have been perceived as a good teammate, although something of a vagabond. I don't know that his penchant for smacking around women had revealed itself yet.

    Zach Edey

Maybe I'd feel differently if I knew him personally, but he just seems extremely unlikable.

This will only make you mad, but...

Agree, but Pitt or Wake pulling off an upset or two wouldn't have made them media darlings. The NCAAs love Cinderella stories.

Do we actually know for sure what kind of a teammate Dior would have been? Obviously not great boyfriend material, but I thought he was supposed to be an enthusiastic and likeable guy on the bench last year while suspended.

    SMF was right about

Pretty clever if so. I don't think SMF is a golfer, so I doubt that he knows what a snap hook is. But you never know.

    Brandon Johnson (ECU) to Miami

Exactly. Which is why he added "...plus where would you rather be...". His first two words were "Money talks..." .

    Bub gone?

    Exactly.

Miami? Well I'll be a son of a beach.

Jaland Lowe 11th in 2025 NBA Draft?

Choosing an 18 year old based on his perceived potential, rather than an older player who is more of a known commodity, is pretty much the definition of a hunch. Or an estimate, educated guess, gut feeling or whatever word you want to go with.

    OT: three’s a crowd?

I hope he doesn't have an affair with her sister. Chances are pretty good that they would get caught.

Jaland Lowe 11th in 2025 NBA Draft?

I know you and bbinsider agree on this, but I don't get it. If there is too much risk to Bub to come back, isn't there too much risk to an NBA team to take him now? Are NBA GMs easily fooled? Do they draft guys on a hunch? If I'm a GM and I see a guy trying to come out early because he is...

    OT: Best Consecutive Album Releases?

I've seen both, and neither turned their back. Doesn't mean they couldn't have done it at other times. I was at a Carly Simon concert when she had a severe case of stage fright and invited eight audience members to come up on stage to form a circle holding hands and sing with her. She said it...

    OT: Best Consecutive Album Releases?

Exile is my all time favorite album, and I also love Sticky Fingers. But I think Beggars Banquet through Exile is the greatest four record stretch ever, and if we have to pick two consecutive I'm not sure I wouldn't pick Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed over Sticky Fingers and Exile. I think...

He probably wouldn't outrun any cop who does a 4.9 40.

    OT: Best Consecutive Album Releases?

I agree that the two best of those were not consecutive. But all three are close enough that someone who is a Stevie Wonder fan may not.

    OT: Best Consecutive Album Releases?

Interesting that Stevie Wonder hasn't been mentioned. He had three consecutive albums that won the Grammy for best album three times in four years.

    OT: Best Consecutive Album Releases?

Seems like every great band or artist has an exceptional string of 3 or 4 or 5 albums. Not going to list all my choices, many of which have already been mentioned. For two consecutive albums that were extraordinary, I'm going to say George Harrison's All Things Must Pass and Concert For...
