    With his behavior the last few weeks, if they came out and said he was leaving the team due to a "mental health" issue, it would be appropriate and not a lot of people bat an eye at that now a days. It would be an easy way for him to get out of this.

    THIS- the quarterback is considered the leader on the team. There is nothing he has done to exemplify this- he has either not showed up to press conferences or punted blame, his body language acts like he doesn't want to be there, and he is just not executing.

    I never expected them to replace at close to Pickett's level, but after finishing in the top 25 the last 2 years and having the second best record in the ACC over the last few years- you have to be able to get a better QB than this. This is pathetic.

    45 yards, 0 TD, 2 interceptions in the 4th quarter. IDC how bad the rest of the team is playing, when the leader of the team has this kinda stats you can not win football games. Esp when your opponents weakness is pass defense.

    What ticks me off about all of this is they dont owe Jurkavich ANYTHING! He turned down Pitt once, hes a 6th year senior that will be here one year. If he isn't getting the job done, bench him. He's not coming back. At least with Vallieux, they can get him some experience.

    This team looks literally so lifeless. Not that I blame most of their players- they have coaches that absolutely won't pull a garbage QB, as much as he continues to suck. This has to be completely demoralizing as a player.

    Teams win their conference championships by winning 3-4 in 3-4 days straight the week before! Pitt had a lot of rest between games, and if they advance to the sweet 16 its a Friday/Sunday site. This shouldn't be an excuse at all.
