If you were in charge of a $10 million Pitt football NIL budget, how would you spend it?

I'd run the flexbone and save a ton of money on offensive talent. QB's would take up 3-4 million. I'd spend the rest (6-7 million) on defense.

    Hayes To Colorado

I was told he put a feeler out for the NFL draft and was given a UDFA grade. I also heard he is a 4.85-4.95 guy in the 40. Dude knows NIL is probably his last good chance at accumulating some $$$.

Tread lightly? I think Lombardi is a chooch but at the end of the day, they aren't losing sleep about the Quips lawsuit. California, Illinois, and Georgia are 3 states that have similar competition formulas as we do. As a matter fact, Lombardi has borrowed most of his formula from other...

    Aliquippa adds new recruit

Roster #'s are great for sure but talent trumps it almost every time. If Roster #'s were the main factor in success, West Point would be a top 10 team. Everyone in the mid-penn would trade a bunch of that depth to have some of Harrisburg's talent.

    Aliquippa adds new recruit

Harrisburg High has been doing that for awhile now in 6A. They've had around 30-35 kids. High end talent always trumps depth. Steel Valley with 18-19 kids mercy ruled Southern Columbia and their 60 man roster.

"I don't believe we can win now."

Who are the big wigs that don't donate significantly right now? Do any of them see PITT football as a worthwhile investment? I just don't see it making much of impact. If football mattered to these big wig non-donors, we would have kept Addison as an example. Whoever is leading PITT will...

This dude (Hayes) is getting obliterated on social media more so then any athlete I've seen at PITT.

Well, we lost our best player today

#1 - his pressure rate led to what in this defense? 73rd in the country in scoring defense? 66th in the country vs the run? 89th in the country vs the pass? #2 - dude it's basic football. You don't need an advanced degree to see his limitations as a player. He's a poor man's Joe Clermond @...

Well, we lost our best player today

It doesn't matter if it's the point or not. The point is he is nowhere close to being irreplaceable. LOL... Listen, I work with a former Partridge disciple and this morning he was like you can have all the pressures in the world in this defense but if you can't get home, you probably aren't...

    Pickett Steelers divorce

Pickens fell to the 2nd round because he missed 90% of the season at UGA after recovering from ACL surgery. If he doesn't get hurt, he's a top 10 pick.
