“There will be people, universities, programs that have to fall along the wayside for the greater good of college athletics”

Pate should just roll over on his back, throw up his legs, and tell his masters to look for the pink hole.

I couldn't be happier for Florida State

No, We have no shame for FSU's snub. We have shame because we have Pat Nartuzzi.

Cin, Hou, UCF, BYU, and WVU

    And Houston fired Holgorsen.

I think Pitt leadership still wants Narduzzi

It has everything to do with the Pitt eggheads who want a nice little football program filled with good eggs. Eight wins gets you fired at Texas A&M, Florida, LSU and a number of other Power 5 programs. Pitt claims to be a Power 5 program at last look.

    Ticket Office

Imagine driving in Houston. Now the complete cluster F on every freeway is back and it's even worse.

Pat Narduzzi Still Getting Pub for Michigan State

Why go to a higher paying job in a more prestigious conference when you have your own dumpster fire here in the burgh. There's no way in hell MSU would hire Narduzzi. Word gets around and so does 3-8.

    Heather

What you describe is a great culture which flourishes in Division II, III, NIAA, Ivy League. The Power 5 is about generating revenue and winning.

Yes and they kept Foge around for one more season to go 5-5. Probably not a good idea to keep as his '84 team that went 3-7-1 was loaded with talent

State Penn just fired their OC

Ok, Lyke, what are you waiting for?

    Shame on Noah Hiles

It doesn't matter. I'm glad we have Noah and I pay for my Post-Gazette subscription to read the Pitt coverage. Put the blame where it belongs. You're criticizing the wrong people.

How bad did Narduzzi and Cignetti screw up the QB position ?

Now this shit show is entirely on Heather Lyke whose worthlessness becomes more evident each game. Does she want to get out in front of this mess? Losing recruits? Losing fans? No. Of course not. She is totally preoccupied with women's sports and doesn't give a shit about football.

At 2-10, Narduzzi is coaching for his job next season

Let's not forget Narduzzi had his best season here with Whipple (who couldn't leave fast enough) and Pickett. Is he finding another OC/QB combination? Nartuzzi is at best an 8-5 coach. At best.

    Lol at Jurkovec!

And that includes Narduzzi who failed to evaluate talent and cost us 4 games.

The most frustrated I’ve ever been after a win

    Narduzzi is a dumb ass.

Is Frank Cignetti Jr still employed?

Common knowledge describes Heather as some type of genius with her rebuilding plans and Olympic sports. Only two sports really count for the public and press and Heather Lyke has been completely hands-off. Ohio State, Michigan State, and pretty much all power conference teams would never have...

Heather are you watching 3 rubs including on 3rd and 10

coaches are not responsible? Is this your alternate reality popping up?

    Duzz a MSU coaching candidate

I would like a head coach who likes offense, isn't best friends with terrible OCs, gets along with a talented OC who might decide to stay. Narduzzi is a jerk. Don't let the door hit his big butt on the way out. Wanting him to stay is a Yinzer thing. Afraid of change. Just afraid.

    Honest question about Narduzzi

Great points. Dave should have finished by beating WVU and Cincy and probably losing to Florida in 2009.

    Honest question about Narduzzi

Harris, given practically no money, had one losing season. Pat's already had his and this one shaping up to be his second.
