Speaking of Cummings... He Just won Pennsylvania State Player of the Year... Well deserved after scoring nearly 40 points in the State Title Game.

Jaland Lowe and Carlton Carrington Judah Mintz RJ Davis When you recruit talent, talent produces. When you recruit players that cant score in the EYBL and cant shoot, they will likely bust or be bench reserves. Its rather simple. Cummings = instant impact. You will see

Yea... 2 of our best players last year were true freshmen.

They will never play on the same team. I was responding to the person of who asked or stated who is better or will be better. Dixon will be better than Dunn.

I think we are getting Dixon over Virginia, Villanova, Syracuse, etc.. unless something major changes. I would much rather have Dixon over Dunn given the choice. He is an instant impact freshmen and should make his way into the national top 50. We have had the full court press on Dixon for 2...

Yea, they played together on the 2021 team in the EYBL, not the 2022 team.

I should have added a second thing to this that I forgot about regarding Corhen that is important. Jaland Lowe played with Cam Corhen in the EYBL. These 2 put Houston in the EYBL Final 4, the toughest high school basketball tournament in the country at the Peach Jam. Corhen also rebounded...

    We got Dunn also

At Houston, his field goal percentage and 3 point shooting percentage were weaker. Also his free throw percentage was over 10% worse at Houston. Simply put, he didn't shoot the ball well at Houston. He did have an ankle injury at Houston, but his shooting has never been his strong suit...

I should have added to this, Corhen played the majority of last season with a broken toe.

These are Cam Corhen's ACC "only" conference basketball stats 5 ACC basketball starts 21.4 minutes per game on average 9.8 ppg 4 rebounds per game 68% FG percentage 49% midrange jumper TS 64% true shooting percentage 128 ORTG offensive power rating, way higher than anyone on our roster last...

Austin needs to be much better and more consistent on the glass. In the middle of the season, his rebound rates started to fall off a cliff just like Fede last year when we didn't know what planet Fede was on for half the season and we started losing a bunch of games. At the end of the...

    Corhen Commits to PITT

These are our leading scorers in ACC Conference play "only" stats from last year Lowe- 12ppg Leggett- 11ppg Cohren- 9.8ppg Austin 6.7ppg Guillermo 5.5ppg Dunn 5.2ppg - Big 12 conference "only" stats I think it is likely that Lowe is the team captain and potentially leads this team in...

    Corhen Commits to PITT

I think all 3 of them can play some 4 depending on matchups, although Kante would be the best bet from a pure defensive and rebounding perspective. With Kante you can switch everything on defense on the backline between the 4 and 5 as he is good enough and quick enough to cover, he has good...

    Corhen Commits to PITT

This is real early and I would look into this quite a bit more as things get closer and with who still gets added, but something like this I could potentially see. Lowe- 32 Cummings 8 Leggett- 25 Cummings 12 Dunn-3 Austin- 20 Leggett - 5 Dunn- 15 Your potential minute splits are Lowe- 32...

    We got Dunn also

I did with Leggett. I expected him to be somewhere around Mike Cook territory and he was. Austin was the guy I was far more skeptical with. Leggett embraced his role too off the bench which is important. I think Dunn and Austin will battle for minutes at the 3 with Dunn getting some...

    We got Dunn also

I was not comparing him to Jeffress. I said he is an upgrade over someone like a Jeffress off the bench. Lets not dwell on the fact that Jeffress did 2 things here at this program fairly well, defense and rebounding and was really bad and limited on offense. We are getting some decent...

    We got Dunn also

He's fine for a depth piece and depth scoring, its an upgrade over someone like a Jeffress for example. His minutes should be similar to what he played at Houston, not more than that based off his efficiency metrics. 15-17 minutes or so is fine. This should not be a full time starter...

    What about the other visitors?

Dixon is expected to commit late spring / early summer unless some blue blood like Kansas comes calling again or something and pushes things back.

    Corhen Commits to PITT

If he plays 30 or a little more minutes per game, I think its realistic he could be a 13 points per game and 6 rebounds per game type player. I think its also realistic he could get time at both the 4 and 5. This is a pretty nice add.

    What about the other visitors?

I expected Corhen to pick Pitt. I expect Dunn to pick Pitt, I just hope he is more of a bench spark plug type player. I think Pitt is in the drivers seat and leads for Derek Dixon. Dixon has an official upcoming to Virginia. He has visited Pitt 4 times.
