15 most unethical programs in college football history

You know what gets me? PSU has been punished, and yet weren't any less relevant over the past few years than they were before the scandal. And now they come out of it with no lasting effects. They had to spend 60 million and countless other $$ associated with the scandal, and they still have the ability to spend millions to upgrade their stadium and football facilities. They are in good position to take the next step, when they shouldn't have the funds and resources to do so. That scandal should have crippled the program in some way. The worst scandal in the history of sports should have had more lasting repercussions. In college football, size matters and I guess programs like PSU are too big to fail. And I am sure the rest of college football has taken note.

They are 4th in their division. Year after year, 7-6 2 years in a row and are Scooby snacks for the Big Ten elite.
THAT is the extent of their relevance.

Quick, someone forward that to Garth and the PiG. Maybe he can add that to his dislikes.

I think my favorite part, is that there is a big old picture of Paterno at the beginning of the article. He is the new face of college footballs most scandalous programs.
That must just drive all of the nitters nuts.
I wonder if anyone has tried to put this on BWI. I'm sure that they wouldn't allow it, but it sure would be fun.

Agree that the best part of article is the picture of Paterno at the top of the article. He is the national face for unethical programs.

Should be mandatory reading for every college football fan and recruits parent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really they are in a league by themselves. And the sick part is they didnt learn a thing, the culture is mostly the same. I think about 10% of the fan base changed.

they're probably worse now

they convinced themselves that the republican governor, democrat ag, and a former fbi director all conspired to frame joe paterno

as if god knows how many children being sexually assaulted was just a convenient excuse to get paterno, who was surely as important to the rest of the world as the cult members

that they took to the streets and chanted a dead scumbag's name when the sanctions were lifted was like exhibit a for why the sanctions should have been levied in the first place

i think the school should be shut down, not just the football program

Well, for sure if it is an institution of higher learning and a university, it should have just closed and got rid of the football program. Saying you are only punishing the current players is a load of bull since every suspension does that. But it punishes the CULTURE of the entire system to not allow such a thing to happen again.
