SMF is back on board as a season ticket holder. Unfortunately, the tickets are still overpriced ans should still rank as some of the most expensive in college basketball but I wanted to show my support for what I consider to be a really good hire.

As you know, with the new tax laws and the non-deductibility of athletics donations tied to seating, Pitt (and probably most others) will just send a portion of the season ticket price to the Panther Club. So, here's the prices per seat (including donations)

Lower Endzone/Corners: $635
Upper Sideline: $480
Upper Corners: $405
Upper Endzone: $280

I think people are excited about the hire but even at those prices, I think the team ia going to have to be Top 25 good to come close to selling all the tickets. With Stallings, I'd guess they would have sold 2000 season tickets. With Capel, my guess is 5000. Still too expensive and the team is still not good enough.

That's the cost for the entire season or just one game? If the entire season, that's a bargain.

Are you talking football or basketball? Do you mean baseline? I don't believe that there is an endzone in basketball.

Pitt is giving us something to support so I'm in, and D is too! I'd like to see an upgrade in OOC scheduling down the road, but know that we must crawl before we walk. H2P!!

The ACC is going to 20 games for 2019-20. I think what Pitt's home schedule is going to be going forward will be:

10 ACC games

Big Ten/WVU (one home, one away alternating)

Duquesne at PPG Paints Arena

4 cupcakes

1-2 more cupcakes as part of an exempt tournament
