Assuming every incoming freshman but Jordan Whitehead redshirts this year, we would have 61 of 83 current players having used thier redshirts (73.5%). Now I don't have the exact numbers going all the way back but I think it is safe to assume this is the most redshirted roster Pitt had had during the Walt, Wanny, Grahm and Chyst regimes. I think that will be interesting to see how it translates to wins it losses but this really should be the best Pitt team since 2009-20010. I know it has been a lot of 6-6 seasons but the roster finally appears to have depth at all positions.
