2017 Priority WPIAL Recruits

Paris Ford-Already committed & Huge PITT kid, will be interesting to see if he lands at Safety or WR, probably depends on how things progress on the team & players we land below as well as others.

Lamont Wade-Loved his performance & attitude in the WPIAL championship game, him & Mathews really stood out on the field. OSU will be a battle, but with this staff won't be over, a really good 2016 season could help as well in the public eye. PITT has a chance.

David Adams-HUGE recruit for PITT with Galombos graduating, Adams could potentially step in if is as good as advertised. Seems to like PITT would be a huge get for the staff.

Donovan Jeter-Another position of need at DT, he really seems to like the staff & having his brother there doesnt hurt, even though won't be there when he gets on campus. Would be another HUGE get for this staff & team.

CJ Thorpe-Projected as a Guard, can't have enough good OL prospects. At one point seems like PSU to lose but with the CC kids going to PITT & the staff, they have a shot, would be a Great get for OL.

Kenny Robinson-Underrated City League recruit, have we heard this before? Would a great addition to the LB corps with his athletic ability, great chance he comes to PITT.

Kurt Hinish-Recruiting has blown up for him lately with the big offers. DT is a position of need & the staff knows it starts upfront. Really seemed to enjoy himself this weekend. Him & Jeter together we get GREAT for this staff & defense.

Ricky Squires-Athletic WR out of Penn Hills-Might really blow up this summer & get some pretty good offers, would be a nice add to the WR corp.

Lots of talent in our backyard in 2017, staff has to excited for their chances & the relationships they built. Could be another great class in 2017, potentially Top 25 per Rivals rankings
 
psu stock is down-They are paying $4M a year for average results & coaches/players are leaving left & right, why?

They are no threat unless they hire a Great coach, hope Franklin stays it = means more 7-6 seasons for them & "Happy" fans towards the east

12 of the top 20 are from the WPIAL. I can easily see Pitt getting 10 of those 12 players. Exceptions would be Wade and Lugg.

I think Narduzzi cleans house in the WPIAL this season, everything is set up for success. If PITT produces on the field that is only a bonus because even after getting blown out by Navy, PITT finished well in recruiting. If PITT can get to the ACC championship game then I think that will open up recruiting even more. Good things are coming our way.

I dont think UPS will be relevant in western PA football for much longer.

They only got one from this past year, and he was ticketed LOOOOONNNGGGG ago. Questionable dealings with his mother too.

I think Pitt has a legit shot with Wade. If you play the twitter game, and to be honest, I have learned this past year, that twitter is a way better gauge of who is going where than the camp write-ups, then you will see Wade certainly seems to like Pitt and OSU about the same.

If he plays the smart route, and follows suit with the other local recent stars, he chooses a beach school (UCLA) type for a visit, and most likely he will have Bama on his short list as well.

Since Paterno, neither have you dumbass. When Franklin gets fired after next year, that would make 4 coaches over the last 5 years (Paterno, Bradley, O'Brien, Franklin) .

But alas... no child rape in the Pitt football program, so we werent 'punished'. There is not a school or fan base in the country that would switch programs with UPS. Not even Pittsburg St. not alone Pittsburgh.

So, silly post that make no sense aside, we will take the butt whipping we gave UPS the past few months on the recruiting trail and the many more to come and win WITH HONOR. Too bad your school cant anymore.

Pitt field the youngest team in Division I in 2014 and finished with the same record you did. This past year we finished 8-5 and you finished 7-6 without beating one P5 team with a winning record....Try again fool!

Pitt was the second highest climber in the nation in recruiting (Narduzzi's first full season), Pitt led the entire NCAA in increase in attendance, guess who was in the bottom 10 for decreased attendance? :)

Anyways, not a penn state fan alive will tell anyone they had a good last week of recruiting, it was a nightmare for you guys.

Dear Stooge, recruiting means next to nothing. Franklin cannot coach...PERIOD. HCPN coaches well and coaches up. I am sure you have no clue what the even means. Maybe you need to check out Darqueze Dennard and Trae Waynes from Michigan State and see what there Rivals star ratings were coming out of high school and then where they were drafted. Try to make the connection. Franklin doesnt recognize talent like HCPN does. How many players did Franklin get to flip from PITT this year ? Oh well. keep drinkin that kool-aid with the cultists.

-Pitt might actually lead for Wade at this point. Getting Aaron Mathews helps a lot. Its well known he wants to play with his teammates in college if possible. Penn State has a chance with Thorpe, that's it. If they think they are getting Wade, then I think Im winning powerball. Not happening.

Since you have so many more higher-ranked players, you should clearly beat Pitt this season. If not, it should be viewed as a huge coaching fail for PSU. I think that's what you're saying here, right?

1. You're scared the tides are turning in the state
2. You're completely oblivious to the irrelevance of your program regardless of the sanctions.

You're program will continue to be middle of the pack for years to come. Ped U downward spiral has been happening for years now. Joe was crapping his dipends knowing that the ship was sinking

This thread had nothing to do with your sh*t school it had to do with he PA and WPIAL recruits that you probably have no shot at getting.
