Had some time and found that every ACC school (except Cuse) as well as WVU and PSU generally have 3 to 4 commitment for 2019. I know our staff likes to see these kids camp and then we pull in a bunch shortly thereafter. However, shouldn't we expect some deeper relationships formed earlier in the recruiting cycle with sophomores and Juniors who are sold on Pitt before the summer of their senior year? An early committment can speak to a kid who really wants to be at his dream school. Shouldn't we expect this of a staff going into their fourth year? This is really just more of an observation rather than a complaint but I would be surprised if we get a commit anytime in the next two months. Just doesn't seem like any of our prospects are ready.
