We only played seven games against teams that made the tournament as an at-large bid, right? And we finished 13th in the conference and teo games over .500. What a mess.

That's being very kind. They only had 8 teams for much of their history. Then 9. Then 12. Then 15. Now 18. Only getting 22% of their teams in is the worst the league has ever done.

We won't know a thing about next year's team and how we might do because we don't have next year's team here yet. I'm thinking with the disaster of this past season, we might keep 3 guys from that team, maybe 4, and bring in 8 or 9 new guys we might have never heard of. That in itself is discouraging. Then we'll probably be stuck with the same inept coaching staff and head coach, even though Capel should be forced to jettison most of his staff and hire competent coaches. That includes his brother.
