I am genuinely excited about this season. Not because we are perceived contenders obviously, but because for the 1st time in Narduzzi’s reign he went out and upgraded his staff significantly. Getting rid of that WV reject Cignetti was an absolute necessity. But filling the spot with a non re-tread was as important.
I’m not making any predictions other than this.
We will be far better prepared for games in 2024 if for no other reason than our staff won’t have the sword of Damocles over their heads and our players want to be here.
The latter is an unintended happy consequence of NIL for a program like ours.
