Pitt did call Bassett. Just so we don’t have anyone asking “why didn’t we try to recruit this Bassett kid” after he wins more major events

Ideally this is the class to get some big guns. Since the whole team is basically sophomores. Get them in and redshirt to take over in 2027. 2026 is absolutely loaded in local talent got to get some of those McCourt guys

2026 is a great class and a good PA class but another weaker WPIAL Class. 2027 is the big one for the WPIAL. There are 6 McCourt kids in the top 150 2026 prospects and we should be in heavily for 1 or 2 to establish a foothold in that pipeline
