#24 in AP Poll

This is with the Big Ten and PAC 12.
Notable teams we’re ahead of: VT, Minnesota, USC, Iowa, Baylor, Utah.

With a win this week, we’ll jump over #23 Michigan and maybe #19 Wisconsin.

Although there are some head scratching ones like UCF at #11 (Their closer than score indicated win over GT ain’t looking too good) and an unscathed #12 UNC (played one game and struggled to pull away from Cuse), I’m satisfied. The committee could’ve easily put teams like USC, Minnesota, and Iowa ahead of us.

The "Pittsburgh" voter in the poll is Jerry Dipaola, and he has us at 17 this week. There are only three voters who have us higher than he does. So it seems like the Pittsburgh voter is "protecting his home turf" reasonably well.

The interesting thing is that there were three voters that had us at number 18 last week who dropped us out entirely this week.
