Couldn't get 4 yards in 2 plays. Punt it back. Game over. The defense made adjustments and kept us in it aftet being destroyed early but the O couldn't make a play when needed. This loss isnt the end of the world but the O has simply got to be able to stay on the field and sustain drives.

That's why seriously, if the OC doesn't trust our QB to be able to throw the ball on 2nd and 4 and 3rd and 4, well bench him and play someone else. Anyone can hand off 90% of the time.

We had no sustained drives in the second half, We had Quadree's long run but not a sustained drive. In fact, we may have had our last good drive early in the 2nd quarter. Not 100% sure on that one though.
Ran the same crap the last 3 possessions against Prnn State as well. Terrible play calling when it gets to crunch time 2 weeks in a row.
Same with last week. 3 of our 6 TDs came on short fields. All 3 TDs came on a short field.
Totally agree with you here. You have to convert 2nd and 4. Get that 1st down and the game probably does not end the way it did.
I think bouncing running backs in and out, with no logical rotation does not help either
It is obvious Conner is not yet back to his old self. He took himself out several times against PSU and did the same today.
It seemed/seems when we change running backs within a set of downs, things are disrupted and most times it does not turn out well.
