#9 seed doesnt play until the second round. that is about the goal for the panthers although you are then stuck playing the #1 seed.

I forgot Ga Tech won last year having only to beat #13 Miami to get to the final.

I think our three best players are Hugley, Burton, and Gueye. On a good (by no means great) team, they need to be like your 2nd, 6th, and 7th best players.

The fact that we're remaining mostly competitive in this conference is crazy to me. ACC basketball has really fallen off a cliff.

We are 1.5 games behing Louisville for the 9 seed and a 1st Round Bye. That comes with a sure loss to Duke though in the quarterfinals if we made it.

Of course this team has no chance of winning the ACCT but to hope for the best possible run, I'd probably say the 10 seed is best. Beat the 15 seed (which will not be easy and is as good or even better than us). Upset the 7, then get a quarterfinal game against a 2 seed, which would be a 8-9-10-11 type of NCAAT seed which isnt an impossible game.

Capel is coaching Pitt next year unless he loses his key players to the portal. I like where your head is at though. Maybe Coach K should just forfeit so they dont get Covid and prepare for the NCAAT. Not sure it makes sense for them to go to Brooklyn for a week during Omicron for a rather meaningless tournament. I wonder if VCU regrets playing in the A10T last year? They said the hotel they were at was crowded as could be. Should have listed to SMF
