I was just sitting in my Office and looked at the poster I picked up at the preseason media day this season. Of the 4 players featured on the poster, 3 of them are really not players on this team. Only Tyler Boyd is still a major player at this point of the season. This is a true testament to this Coaching staff that they have developed team leaders and 1st teamers who were not really considered to be major contributors before the season started.
This really speaks well of the future of this program. HCPN seems more than willing to put his best team on the field and play an aggressive style of football to win. I would have to think this will really help them as the recruiting season moves forward. What top HS kid wouldn't want to be part of this kind of a program. Great effort so far by this staff and these kids really seem to be buying into what they want to accomplish.
Need a big win today in the Dome. My sense is Pitt will play strong and come away with a close victory. First team to 25 wins. Pitt 30 Syracuse 21
