Trahan. Folston. Weah.

All three pass the look test and, more importantly, look like the type of player especially suited for their position. I know there have been some knocks on Weah and his inconsistency, but, hell, give me the guy that - if the light comes on - can be a difference maker. If you watched some of the Spring tape (great stuff, by the way), it's pretty clear that the dude oozes explosive ability and the requisite speed for the position. Plus, he has really good size/frame as well. As the cliche goes, 'if the light turns on', watch out.

Trahan and Folston are the type of 2*/under-the-radar guys that staffs should be targeting. Take fliers on guys that look the part, haven't been playing all too long, and that project to be able to add size onto. Stay away from the guys that put up great numbers but have little by way of offers; unfortunately, Mike Caprara kind of fits that mold. HS stats don't matter; projected frame and raw ability - w/ the benefit of college coaching/weight-room training - are the types that end up surprising, a la Romeus.

Those three should be fascinating to follow, as it's possible they're never a factor.....but it's also possible they end up being starters - and perhaps more.
