It seems that a lot of the stories I've read on 5.5 and 5.6 graded 3 stars that Pitt is recruiting say that they also have a fair number of offers, not just from MAC-like schools, but also from the schools that are usually high in the recruiting rankings which would indicate that they may be graded too low. My belief is that who offers is a better indicator of real talent than stars. Now many of these offers may not be committable. Maybe it is wishful thinking on my part that Pitt is finding these guys regardless of the stars. Maybe Rivals is being more conservative in their rankings and not handing out as many 4 and 5 stars. Don't know.
