1) Winning is better than losing
2) There is a weird obsession with Paris Ford like he is some inerchangable "answer" who can be plugged in at any position and instantly turn this team around. That is not how this works. That.is.not.how.any.of.this.works. As a freshman, being a "good football player" is not enough to overcome not knowing "how to play" your specific role. Until he can go from being "Jack of all master of none" to someone who an be trusted to play a specific role he is more liability than asset. See his play film thus far.
3) Like last year we still have a tenable, but fragile opportunity to get to bowl eligibility. Acheiving that does not mean the team necessarily "improved," but it would be perceived technically as such. On paper Duke, UVA, and Wake should be "winnable," and ND, VT, and Miami look like guaranteed L's. However, thus far under Narduzzi, projecting forward with this team is impossible. That remains true after yesterday's game. I am no more or less confident saying we will be 4 and 8 then I am 7 and 5.
