I was 8 and in attendance and remember it like it was yesterday. I remember Pat blessing himself right before he kicked.

I think it was homecoming too. I remember being at a party somewhere off-campus and a few players were there. We were talking to Clint Wilson and he said he literally didn't know who the kicker was who made the FG since I think he was a walk-on/back-up as the regular kicker was injured? Memory a little foggy on the specifics.
