Because she has been extremely successful.
Pitt is a low tier P5 school.
15 years at Ohio State is more than enough time. She succeeded in the MAC....at a school with more varsity sports than Pitt.
Pitt needs someone who can take them from respectable to riches. It's not easy taking a school to the next level because few can do it.
Ohio States Gene Smith didn't take them to the next level....that's not his skill set.
Builders come out of mid major conferences... whether you like it or not.

That was part time, so that isn't a fair criticism, at all. If anything, it shows she is comfortable in public and with eyes on. That is one of the few positives, IMO.

Yeah because we know how utterly successful that all the white males Pitt has hired in the past have turned out. This woman has been around some extremely big & successful programs while working in a variety of Dept's which I believe qualifies her to be a very attractive candidate for this job....no pun intended on the attractive description.
