5 Questions

1. Did Moss get in and kill his opportunity to redshirt? I was there but never saw him enter the game.
2. Was it me or was Conner rusty/lacking vision/missing cutbacks?
3. Is it possible there is a package for Stocker to do some read/option or wildcat if our offensive line looks as bad as it did yesterday?
4. How is Hendrix? Will they be able to tape him up and play next week?
5. Why didn't we get the ball in Henderson's hands more in the passing game? He needs end-arounds, WR screens, jet sweeps, whatever--that kid is a playmaker.

I think we need to think about a little more vertical play calling and relax on the wr screens, end arounds, jet sweeps. Our offense is too much horizontal garbage and not enough vertical.. We will have 10 defenders 8 yards or less from the line of scrimmage in most games, any defense would be stupid not too..

For sure we need to throw deep, but some fun plays to Henderson versus running into a pile of humanity if the Oline isn't blocking well would be nice. A couple bombs to Henderson or Weah would help loosen things up also.

Conner was rusty. Narduzzi said he was looking to score every play instead of taking 4 yard gains. I agree with that assessment. I seem to recall a wanny comment about shady that was similar and things worked out well. People act like it is a year since conner played but in reality it was 15 carries in a game in about a 20 month period. He is the least of my worries

im curious If Henderson can be used sparingly as a deep threat... He does move well in space, he's the guy to go to on the wr screens.. Weah had a nice wr screen though, put a good move on the guy to pick up 10+

Looked to me like James was a little leg heavy....it will take time. thought Duze hit it on the head he needs to be a little more straight ahead runner until he gets his legs back under him. Is Aston hurt? Would like to see him leading the way again.

if JC or Q are running left to right behind the LOS, the defense won.. Either and especially JC can make a good cut after they hit the seam but both need to hit that seem running north/south to be effective.. You make him make that cut behind LOS, we are in trouble..

No, he didn't play. Look at the official game stats. They list everyone who participated.
