That is why I like Michigan St.

I will say though, MSU wins in a miracle against Michigan and they are viewed as a great team, and alabama loses mostly due to a miracle catch and they were viewed as slipping all year.

Michigan st is certainly similar to Pitt, we have been saying that for years and years. We can get there.

I don't think MSU is viewed as a great team. They are a good team. The Spartans certainly had some close calls and good fortune this season. They just find a way to win. Bama is a 9 point favorite.

I don't know if Alabama is viewed as slipping or not. However, that's life on top of the totem pole. Anything less than a trip to the CFP is considered a disaster in T-town. The bar is set pretty damn high, and once you are the dominant program in college football, the only direction you can go is down. That's why the big story in the B1G is tOSU. The Buckeyes are the team with the most talent that never could seem to put it all together to look like the team they were last postseason. From day one, anything less than another National Title was going to be viewed as a great disappointment. Do you think anybody at tOSU is excited about playing in some meaningless bowl game against Notre Dame?

I think anyone likes the chance to beat notre dame :)

But yes, you are 100% correct on everything you said there. And I 100% agree that MSU dismantling of a badly coached penn state team isnt that big of a deal, although it sure was fun to watch the highlights over and over on espn

what was the score to the Ohio State shellacking of state penn a few years ago?

The 63-14 Ohio St. game was the one where the Cult was crying on BWI that Urban Meyer didn't treat them like a charity case and keep the game close. The Cult was also crying because Meyer had the nerve to challenge a call when he was already up big. The Cult screaming for "fairness" from the refs doesn't apply when it is the other team getting hosed.

Glad to see you capitalize The Cult. Everyone on here should do the same and not refer to any of their other names.

Cult Reality: Their current football coach is the worst one they've had in a century. Look it up. Even before Engle and The Old Rat, their program was a winner. James is not living up to the Cult standard.

I was at the Ohio State beatdown. Tried to have a friendly conversation with a nitter at halftime, when OSU was up by 5 TDs, and he and his wife immediately started bitching about the officials. I listened for awhile, then just stopped him cold, and pointed out that it had been a total butt whopping on every play, and even if there was a call or two that went against them, it didn't matter. He listened and then went back to bitching about the calls again, and I just said I had to go and walked away.

The victimhood CULTure at PSU has been ingrained by decades of Paterno complaining that the entire world is against Penn St. and that only PSU does things the right way through "Success With Honor."

The cries of crooked officiating only go one way with the Nitters, however. They screamed bloody murder when Urban Meyer actually had the audacity to challenge a call that was clearly wrong.

Sounds like the average Lair poster.

Crooked officiating helped them win a national title. Success with honor. And the help of a ref that is a relative of one of their players.

BWI just going wild right now at living vicariously through Alabama beating Michigan St. It hilarious how much The Cult hates the Big 10 and that the best they can hope for is that someone else beats the conference's top teams.

It just goes to show how low these CULT Fan are, and wonder why Big Ten Fans hates them, and Pitt does not respect them?

They think it because they are so superior or better but how they act shows how low of character Penn State CULTivated!

Here Pitt lost to UNC, Miami, ND, and Iowa and Pitt fans still wanted all 3 to win and do well in bowls, because Pitt played them?

Yet, Penn State take great join in laughing at Teams that beat them and blew them out and then Bama blows one of them out, and Penn State BWI Cult Fans thinks that it is some kind of victory for them?

Then they cry about Refs, or how their Trustees betrayed them, and why no one respects Paterno that taught them to act that way?

And this is why they lose respect and the Big Ten does not respect them either!

A winner? They don't even have a lifetime 700 avg, and those clowns over on BWI claim they are one of the blue bloods. Which I had to laugh at. There are 8 universally recognized blue bloods, and PSU isn't on the list.

Worse though, they claim the PSU program is greater than MIchigans. The only thing PSU can hold over Michigan is their coach hit 400 plus wins, and they can all wear white shirts. When it comes to the college itself, tradition, wins, percentage, blah blah blah.....the accolades can roll like credits here. I will spare you.

The bottom line is BWI sports delusions of grandeur. Michigan trumps PSU on a scale that they attempt to state about their so called "superiority" of Pitt. They are our bitch.

I look forward to Harbaugh vs Franklin over the coming years.
