Narduzzi should use it as a a teaching moment for his players

Play and give maximum effort for ALL 60 minutes, you cannot let up at various times.

Yep. As reflected by allowing a takedown in the last 20 seconds?

Even more so my point ...

Matt Brown did give up a takedown in the last 20 seconds. Those things happen when one is facing elite competition on the wrestling mat.

Looked like a tough situation for Brown. But he didn't give up, he struggled for the escape in the last 20 seconds, and he was able to score points by enducing both a stall and by enducing a foul.

Perseverance, in the form of 100% effort 100% of the time, helped make champions. Letting up on the 100% effort --- be it in the form of stalling in wrestling or looking to ride out the clock in football, often doesn't make champions. For the sake of Pittsburgh Panther football, Narduzzi hopefully will teach this lesson.

Re: Even more so my point ...

Actually, what we don't need is some twit coming over here and lecturing us on what makes a champion and instructing Coach Narduzzi to teach said twit's lesson for the sake of Pitt football.
Your 409 standard is insulting to all menschen. It should be 19 and Counting to honor the victims (counted and uncounted) whom your cursed deity and his minions provided for his underling's pleasure.

Please crawl back under the slimmy rock from whence you slithered, your demented forum, and permit us some relief from the knowledge of your pitiful existence,

Good points. If making a champion involves hiring a coach who's behavior at his former place of employment involved participation in a cover-up, and hiring a president who came from a school where there was an epic cover-up, then we don't want any part of it.
