I have been seeing these rumors about adding inventory for the new ACC Network. Has there been some type of agreement for this, starting in 2019?

Guess we'll have to wait for Swofford's opening remarks on Thursday to find out. Unless there's an intentional leak from ACC HQ before then?

Do you think 9 fb games? 20 BB games?

Under consideration, but not prerequisite.

I dont see 9 football games happening with ND and the SEC rivals in the mix. 20 bball games will happen soon. That was actually my idea :)

Going to 9 conference games would actually reduce inventory.

But it would increase valuable inventory. The ACC Network couldn't show Pitt at Iowa but it can show Pitt at NC State.

I don't think it actually decreases inventory at any rate, because the extra ACC game replaces either a home OOC game they had in inventory or an away OOC game they didn't have in inventory. It might have a net effect of minus three or four games total because instead of one Pitt game and one NC State game, there will be one game total. Many of these schools will probably cut out road games that weren't in inventory anyway though.

Not really. Most of the extra conference games will be Wake Forest/Duke type games. If you're ESPN, you're better off with Clemson playing Georgia or Florida ST playing Oklahoma St that another one of those games.

Good point. Most teams (most years) probably cut a game vs a P5 OOC opponent instead of their FCS/G5 cupcake at home every year.
