Soon, you will see an 18 year vet playing QB for your favorite college at age 36. For a guy like Sam Hartman who doesn't really have an NFL future, he could become very rich playing QB for 20 years in college.

Go to college for 10 years and then retire. An elite player could make plenty of NIL money. Enjoy all the perks of being a collegiate athlete. Sounds like a good plan.
 
They say your college years are the best time of your life. He figured it out to make it last as long as he could. Smart.
 
Good for him, I can’t imagine what he went through or how many surgeries it took to miss 3 straight years after a broken leg and torn ligaments. Dude must have had some serious complications.
