A couple of thoughts from out west

At times, as we’ve noted, sloppy play...but it’s still a W. A Couple of thoughts to digest.

1. We have 3 backup QBs, put one of them as the holder for XPs and FGs, also can add an interesting element if we fake a FG.

2. Agreed, with others, the rolling pocket is not necessary...limits the field and KP throws better when he’s looking at the entire field (and yes, I know he threw a pick When in the pocket).

3. The O-line needs help...it would be great to have Covert, Grimm, May, and Brown (among others) stop by and show/tell them how to fire off the line.

4. Run play-action on first down, and throw it downfield. REPEAT, run play-action on first down, and throw it downfield!

All good points, but especially #1. Our punter is an awful holder. He cost us the penn state game and cost us a chance at 3 yesterday.
Get a backup QB in the game to be involved and have the threat of a fake.

The defense rose to the challenge, but make no mistake Syracuse has a terrible offense.

The Syracuse D is good, but those guys are going to break down sooner or later because they can't rely on their offense to stay on the field.
Once again we were our own worst enemy.
