We've only just begun As much as we argue, disagree, and bicker with one another it was nice having a place all to ourselves to talk Pitt sports. I'll miss the banter and playful jabs. I will always remember the amazing time we had in 2021 finally seeing the fruits of our loyalty to Pitt football. I guess I'll catch you guys somewhere rooting on the panthers on Saturday afternoons. Arent we all just going to 247?

Not sure we are going apples to apples even if that happens. It's a new chapter of our Pitt fandom. Not really sure what to expect, but appreciated the ride. I suspect we won't be so lucky as to rid ourselves of SMF that easily 😉. I've learned in life to be prepared for change and as Bruce Lee was once quoted as saying

I hope we can come to a consensus on that. There’s many posters here I enjoy reading and conversing with, so I hope the group doesn’t get splintered.

Also, I wonder if Jim or Matt will take over the Pitt Rivals site if Chris is leaving? Sounds like a lot of moving pieces.

Jim is going with Chris. Not sure about Matt. I don't think this is Matt's main gig though. So I doubt he will take it over.

Yea, not sure if someone is making an alt-Pantherlair on the Rivals site or if the only option is 247. I'll be on one of them.

Also, although I’ve only connected personally with a few of you on here and most of my interactions with the site were sports banter, I appreciate the Lair’s condolences after my father (Pitt 1990) passed away in 2017. He was a huge Pitt basketball fan and proud of his alma mater.

Unfortunately, with the game at Lville, I doubt my dribbles will be pleasant.
