Yeah, this season has been a bummer.

1) You would have a pretty good Fantasy Football Team if you had Conner, Boyd, Lewis, Fitzgerald, and McCoy.

2) Yeah, the Narduzzi Era is lame. But looking at the whole athletic department, It seems Capel could really help the Pitt Brand. This should bring in more money. That should help us get away from Narduzzi quicker if that is our ultimate direction.

3) While I am not excited by Narduzzi, I am happy that our football program is better then where it was after Wannstedt.

4) Donnelly warned us about the consistency of our coaching staff before leaving. I thought Bates and Borbely would help with that. This is a fixable item, although I have been wrong about the time it might take.

5) The NC game was called terribly for us. Yes, I am being that person that blames penalties. But I suck at observing penalties and I saw 4 not called. We aren't good enough to not get those calls.

6) The pass from Pickett to French on a crossing pattern vs NC was the best I've seen since I think Savage. So while we temper expectations down for Kenny, its not all crazy hopeless. That being said, we also win the game if we don't take two Sacks for 10+ yards a piece.

7) If we can beat Syracuse and the other crappy teams in our division, the bowl game will bring extra revenue to the program which coincides with point 2.

8) The City itself is an asset and continues to add amenities which makes our University and program more attractive. Every time I go back I am astonished. It has a continually growing tech sector that is repairing many economic scars. I do not think its a coincidence that the decay of our program happened during the decline of the city.

Have a good day!
