A guy some on the board bad mouthed

There is little to no difference between High D2 and low D1 (NEC, MEAC, SWAC). If a kid is averaging 20 PPG in D2, in most cases, that player can play P6 ball, at least as a reseve.

Duquesne signed a D2 kid recently. Was averaging 16.7
The PG at IUP who was an all American last year would be a top 5 PG in the ACC. Armoni Foster. He’s phenomenal.

Armoni is from meadville and he is very good. I am hoping a long and profitable career in Europe I if not the nba. His brother played corner for temple a few years back.
If he is that good and I'm not doubting it, Im not sure why he wouldn't transfer. A D2 All-American can easily play P6 ball.

Maybe he is happy. In the long run I think we will see a lot fewer transfers for this reason. Moving, making new friends, learning to navigate a new place, transferring credits are all pretty big barriers to changing schools.

Nah. Everyone transfers. He will eventually.

IUP kids are usually at IUP for a reason. Lol
A D2 all American just transferred to Kansas. Are you suggesting Pitt or any school of the like is above taking a D2 all American when Kansas is taking them?

Several D1’s tried to get him to transfer this year with the PSAC sitting out, including at least 1 ACC school.

Let's try this again. Talent isn't the reason kids usually end up at IUP.

His story is probably similar to a lot of good players. The baby of a very athletic family was 5’5 as a freshman in high school and now a legit 6’4. Every time I saw him he was taller. Great work ethic has access to a private gym and has a personal trainer is all in on trying to become a pro. I believe he was a pre season first team all-American selection. One game in high school sticks out in my mind was the state championship game against Colin Gillispe he performed very well against a loaded team and many people took notice. Joe Lombardi has done a great job with him
