I think you can find better guards here. These guys are mostly almost all crapshoots no? Wasn’t Payton somewhere around 5? And he can’t seem to even get a sniff.
And I’m not saying he shouldn’t take any sincere there are exactly zero commitments. But I wouldn’t hold my breath hoping for a whole lot of help here.
If you are asking if Payton was ranked around #5 as a JUCO - no he was not. I never saw him on any JUCO ranking list, but he did have a couple other decent offers,These guys are mostly almost all crapshoots no? Wasn’t Payton somewhere around 5? And he can’t seem to even get a sniff.

Ok thanks for the correction. If you are asking if Payton was ranked around #5 as a JUCO - no he was not. I never saw him on any JUCO ranking list, but he did have a couple other decent offers,
Could be that I’m just an idiot too so don’t ever discount thatI think there might be some confusion about Payton “playing the 5” at his JUCO, Payton “being ranked in the top 5” JUCO recruits, and Payton “starting for a top 5 JUCO team.”
On an unrelated note, I wondered what happened to Nigel John. Believe he was a guy we kicked tires on late in the process when we were thinking about adding another big with Hugley in that class.
You got your rare guy like Duarte but they're few and far between.JUCO recruiting ain't what it used to be. All that you really need to know is that JWF was probably the third most successful JUCO recruit at a P6 school over the past 7 or 8 years.

But i think the top guards can sometimes be good.

If a recruit isn't at JUCO because something got messed up right as he tried to enroll like Chris Duarte or Alonzo Verge Jr then the odds of them offering anything are really, really low.
Yeah i don't doubt your knowledge of these type of lists.Sure, if you can get a Duarte, or a Verge, or a Teddy Allen, or the like who was a P6 level recruit but couldn't get in school that's certainly fine. But the top players this year are coming from Bradley and Wofford so there just really isn't much there.
Jones and Foster are a heck of a backcourt. They are 10-1 and the only loss was to Illinois by 15.Low majors, Mid majors and D2’s are the new jucos.
Some HM should be trying to poach the guard from IUP. He’s a stud
They’re both better than any guard on Duquesne’s roster imo. Super talentedJones and Foster are a heck of a backcourt. They are 10-1 and the only loss was to Illinois by 15.
We gonna call IUP's coach up?They’re both better than any guard on Duquesne’s roster imo. Super talented
Armoni should lose his last year to go D1 somewhere.
I’m sure we would be in a better place right now had we hired Lombardi instead of Stallings. Not that I’m advocating for that to have happened. We gonna call IUP's coach up?
