"I tell them all the time to look in the mirror and talk to yourself first. Check yourself first before you start checking others. I’m going to try to practice what I preach.”

from Craig Meyer: Kevin Stallings wasn't quite angry while answering the final two questions of his presser, but he was more animated than usual. As he walked out of the media room, he said

"I'm not trying to be a prick. I'm just a little frustrated."

You'd really expect a comment like that to come from a youth sports coach, not an experienced d1 coach. I have no idea what's going on here.

He sounded despondent on the radio tonight. I still think there's zero chance he "retires" or "resigns" but that interview was the closest I have come to reconsidering it.

I’d seriously doubt that in his entire bb career he’s ever been associated with any team this bad . I’m sure he has a sense of hopelessness , he knows better than anyone what these kids are capable of doing , but what can he say , my team has no f....g chance ! The fact that he hasn’t gone ballistic is amazing self control .

He quit on the team last year vs Louisville. Any despondency now is just an act.

If he actually did his job for which he is well remunerated for, he may not feel so bad. Maybe the guilt is gnawing at him?
