I think there was a mention in Adam Friedman's article on UCLA TE transfer Chris Clark about Clark's relationship with Pat Narduzzi. It turns out Narduzzi was Clark's area recruiter when he was at Michigan State, and the two got very close. "Extremely close," was the way I heard it, and that's a big part of the reason Pitt is one of the main schools he's looking at.
