A way too early look at next year's draft...

An Ohio State QB. When will people learn? A truly wasted pick.

Rattler in the first round? He's not even good enough to start on his own team.

Levis did play at Penn State.

After drafting two WRs in this draft and having Claypool come back, I'd normally scoff at another receiver, but they're just too valuable right now.

Thanks. I thought he filled in rather nice when Clifford got hurt. He looked better than Clifford if I recall.

Who knows how the roster will look next year. All the FAs they signed were short term deals. But as of now it looks like corner, tackle and - with them declining Bush’s option - LB will be needs.

I’ll say this, I wanted us to draft Jurkovec next year if we didn’t draft Pickett. I know it looks like yinzer homerism, but I think he’s going to have a big year for Boston College and will get drafted in the first two rounds.

If they extend Johnson before the season I'd say WR is unlikely. Otherwise he's probably gone next year, in which case we need a WR.

I would pay money to watch Addison have to walk into the Steelers office while Pitt guys stand outside and form a gauntlet

Speaking of which, has Notre Dame had an NFL QB succeed? If so, who was it and when was it? Serious question.

...Very interesting 1st round projected here. Obviously so many things will change....but this has some gems in it.

11. That’s where they have the Steelers picking. Actually 11 is the number of wins I see the Steelers getting in 2022. So they will be picking somewhere in the mid 20s. And they won’t be taking any WR in the first round.

I liked his game (just thought he needed some refinement; he makes way too many precarious decisions) up until last year, but I just can't take him seriously after this past season. I realize he was hurt, but I need to see some good things to make me forget all the fluttering ducks. I mean, he was AWFUL in 2021 and probably should have never been playing.

I can see DL being the pick. Heyward is getting up there so it should be time to find the next one

Prediction? Win 10 games, one and done again in the playoffs, pick near spot 20 again.

The OL will still be the biggest problem in the 2022 season, yet the Steelers will somehow still avoid drafting any OL in 2023 (I see the first pick being their usual go-to, ILB, since they’ve given up on Bush). Second pick will be the safety they should have taken THIS year to replace Edmunds and/or Minkah (if let go). And taking still more baffling boutique running backs in the second and third days, who will combine for 5 touches at best the following season … and heck, why not draft another punter as well..

Good news is there will likely be a couple extra day 2 and 3 picks they’ll get when they eventually trade Tribisky and/or Rudolph.

I agree with this under Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer - they utilized the read-option QBs extensively with QBs like Pryor, Braxton Miller and JT Barrett and many others. Ryan Day, however, uses more NFL type offenses and his QBs - Haskins (RIP), Fields and Stroud are much more in-line with NFL offenses and keep in mind that Day was a QB coach in the NFL. The recent wave of OSU WRs to the NFL kind of speaks volumes for the QBs throwing them the ball
